ShakespeareCountyRacers are a group of
friends who meet up every couple of
weeks to drag race their cars at
Shakespeare county raceway.

SCR was an idea of Robert(wobbly Bob)
Akerman and Paul (Screwit) Hewett, and
since then,all members have had some
input. We like to keep it light hearted so
each meeting we all put a few bob in the
kitty,and whoever has the most improved
ET over the season gets the cash.

As you can see by the assortment of cars
and vans,you can drag race just about
any car you want to. The one thing in
common with all our cars is they that
they all have the sweet sound of a V8
engine.

Why not fetch the family down to
Shakespeare County Raceway for a
thrilling weekends entertainment. Or if
you think you have a fast car ,bring it
along to a test + tune weekend and see
what times you can get.

There are numerous meetings over the
season,which runs from mid march to
late October incorporating T+T meetings
all the way through to championship
events.
